Graham crackers: how many of the current sized crackers be used in an old recipe?

I have a recipe from the 1960s that calls for ten sheets of graham crackers (20 squares).
Now that we have “shrinkflation” that gives us smaller, thinner graham crackers, How many should be used?

Have a look at the ingredients equivalent chart at the spruce ears site for mother square and rectangular graham crackers.

Check similar recipes from the 60s for the dish you want to make to see if they give crumb measurements in volume or weight, then use as many of the new type crackers to make that weight or volume.
