The recipe says 1/2 teaspoon of filling. That can't be right. How much should it be?

Similar empanada recipes use about 1/2 tablespoon for a small one (about 3” diameter) and 1 tablespoon for large (6” diameter).

So I think the 1/2 tsp is probably an error when uploading the recipe.

PS Meant to say - adjust your filling to the pastry size you cut. If after first one, you need more or less filling, then try that.
