Is this meal feeezer friendly?

Can this dish be frozen for later and if so for how long? I’m meal prepping and would love to know

Looking at the recipe I also imagine that this is passably edible when defrosted.

However like so many things that can be refrigerated and/or frozen for future use, I would definitely try it once and decide for myself if I would dare serve this to others. It's one thing to take a defrosted item to work as a brown bag lunch. It's something completely different to put this on a plate for dinner guests you are trying to impress.

This goes for pretty much anything you might bring into your house, not just this particular dish.

Best of luck.

Thank you! I’m a grad student headed into an insanely busy sweater and just looking for things to make in bulk on break so I can reheat them for lunch. I might try with some leftovers.

Technically, yes.
But I've frozen portions with similar main ingredients (chickpeas, cooked spinach) and the defrosted results are ok but watery and less tasty than the original.
If you have extra, I would stroe them in the fridge and heat up again within about five days.

Thank you. I’m pretty wary lol. As mentioned above I might try to freeze one serving and see what happens.

Ok good luck with your experiment.
Generally, I find freezing food as soups works very well for planning ahead.
You could use these ingredients (and/or other proteins) as a basis for soup and then as main dish for a meal.
