Hi Miss_Karen. It is a requirement, yes. In years past the donation amount was as high as $10. We made it $5 this year. It helps ensure that everyone follows through with the swap—if you can take the time to do this step you are more likely to send a gift. And it’s a good gift in and of itself, to make the donation.
