Hi, when the white enamel inside of Dansk pots chip, is there anything that can be done to repair it? This has happened to a few of my classic pots.
After a lot of use, things happen and the enamel has chipped over areas ranging from a square inch or a bit larger revealing the black metal beneath. Is there anyway to repair this?

Hi Patricia,
Enamel cast iron cookware like Dansk is super durable and there is typically a fix for many of the common problems like scorching. Unfortunately however, chipped enamel is one of the few things that can't be repaired. This is common with older, well loved pieces of enamel pots and pans.
And though I wish I could tell you that you could continue using the chipped pieces, enamel is essentially glass, and with more use you run the risk of more enamel coming off and getting into your food.
We do have a replacement policy, though this does largely depend on when and how the products were purchased. Feel free to reach out to support@food52.com and they may be able to help you out.
Hope this was helpful!
