Why is my broad bean- blanching water PINK?

I blanched a kg of broad beans today and left the pot of water on the stove as I carried on. I later peeked in to see that the water was a beautiful pink?! Probably some sort of scientific answer? Or maybe I'm just going mental and seeing things?
