I need suggestions on frying up a bunch of oysters

I've enjoyed frying oysters for my husband and me this summer in my cast iron skillet. Just an inch or so of oil and they come out great. But tonight I'm frying for 5 or 6 people. Using the skillet will take so many batches that either the first batch will be cold and soggy by the time I'm finished or I can't eat with everyone else while I continue frying. Thinking about getting a FryDaddy or one of those deep fryers. I just don't think the oysters will come out as good as in the skillet. Thoughts? suggestions?

Have you tried keeping them warm in a very low oven. Set your oven to 150 or 200 and as you finish frying the oysters, set them on a baking sheet in the oven. They should keep warm and crisp without continuing to cook much. And here's a recipe: http://www.food52.com/recipes/2928_fried_oysters_with_saffron_aioli
