A question about a recipe: Pear Rosemary Danish

Does the dough have a typical danish texture or is it more along the lines of a pie crust?

It's pretty much a pie crust. I think it's a bit like a pie crust crossed with a shortbread cookie (probably 75% crust & 25% cookie.)
