I can't see a reason why not. Just make sure you drain well when you defrost as with spinachv

Yes, most definitely. That's exactly the procedure you'd follow if prepping it to freeze in the first place. It's a good idea to press as much air as possible out of the ziplock bag before freezing. And lucky you!
