Best potato for mashed potatoes?

Russets or yukon gold. The russets in the recipe Kristy refers to really do the job.

I mostly use Yukon gold but russet are great, too...

Even if you don't use this recipe, Russets are a good choice for mashing.

My personal preference is yukon gold but russet are also excellent.
