Author Notes: Simple home cooked dish. The natural sweetness of the winter cabbage goes perfectly well with the strong aroma of shiitake. Match in heaven and earth.juntt

Serves 1

  • 3 cups winter cabbage
  • 2/3 cup chopped fresh shiitake
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 2/3 cup water
  1. Gently heat sesame oil and cook minced garlic until light brown. Add shiitake and stir fry for a minute or two until coated well with oil.
  2. Add winter cabbage and salt with pepper. Stir fry until coated well with oil and slightly soft.
  3. Pour water in and cover to simmer for 5-10 minutes until done. Serve.
