Author Notes: Simple home cooked dish. The natural sweetness of the winter cabbage goes perfectly well with the strong aroma of shiitake. Match in heaven and earth. —juntt
- 3 cups winter cabbage
- 2/3 cup chopped fresh shiitake
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2/3 cup water
- Gently heat sesame oil and cook minced garlic until light brown. Add shiitake and stir fry for a minute or two until coated well with oil.
- Add winter cabbage and salt with pepper. Stir fry until coated well with oil and slightly soft.
- Pour water in and cover to simmer for 5-10 minutes until done. Serve.
