Author Notes: An easy and delicious recipe for steamed spinach. If you can't eat spinach unless it is drenched in cheese, try this and I promise you will be a convert! —Tispam
- 3 tablespoons chopped shallots
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup chicken stock
- 3 tablespoons honey
- In an nonstick frying pan, sauté shallots in olive oil until tender. Add chicken stock, bring to a simmer, add spinach. Turn heat to low and simmer until spinach is cooked; approximately 3-4 minutes. Transfer to a serving bowl and drizzle with honey. Salt and pepper to season and serve.
