Steamed Spinach


Author Notes: An easy and delicious recipe for steamed spinach. If you can't eat spinach unless it is drenched in cheese, try this and I promise you will be a convert!Tispam

Serves 4

  • 3 tablespoons chopped shallots
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  1. In an nonstick frying pan, sauté shallots in olive oil until tender. Add chicken stock, bring to a simmer, add spinach. Turn heat to low and simmer until spinach is cooked; approximately 3-4 minutes. Transfer to a serving bowl and drizzle with honey. Salt and pepper to season and serve.
