Ingredients

Whole wheat flour

Oat flour

Brown sugar

Date syrup

Fully ripe bananas

Sunflower seed butter

1/4 cup
Chopped walnuts

1/4 cup
Dark Chocolate chips

1-1/2 teaspoons
Baking soda

1 teaspoon
Baking powder

1/2 teaspoon
Cinnamon powder

1/2 teaspoon
Clove powder
Directions

Peel and mash the bananas in a large bowl. Add all the other ingredients and mix using a hand blender until everything is nicely incorporated, about 2 minutes. Butter and line a 9x12 inch loaf pan or a round cake pan, and pour the mixture into it. Top with additional walnuts, chocolate chips, sunflower seeds and shredded coconut if desired. Bake at 375 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.
This banana bread tastes the best the next day as the spices and the sugar in the date syrup have all had a chance to mingle. Enjoy.
