Tender flank steak and sweet tomatoes all tossed together with a delicious fermented black bean sauce makes for the best dish! Serve on top of white fluffy rice and eat to your hearts content! Even add a fried egg for some extra goodness! —Three Hungry Bellies

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 dark soy sauce
  • 1 light soy sauce
  • 3/4 salt
  • 1/2 black pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon water
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon black bean paste
  • 2 steak tomatoes, cut into 8 slices
Directions
  1. Get started by mixing together the thinly sliced flank steak, dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, salt, pepper, and water together in a bowl. Set aside.
  2. In another bowl combine the cornstarch, water, and soy sauce. Set aside.
