We're getting saucy.
Our pasta sauce has gotten a little better lately, thanks to City Saucery. First, they took their wildly popular tomato sauce, and smoked it. This version combines hearty eggplant and earthy garlic with sweet New Jersey tomatoes. The sauce has a smooth and smoky character. It's a little sweet, but but not overwhelmingly so, and nuanced enough to not overtake any dish you'll use it in.
Then they made another version -- their Leafy Sauce -- which they like to call ‘tomato sauce with benefits'. It combines super-greens kale and swiss chard with sweet basil and ripe New Jersey tomatoes to create an incredibly healthy-tasty blend for your pasta, entree or side dishes at home.
