Twice a month, we'll feature a user's collection that we think embodies the Food52 spirit. Get a little inspiration, then start creating (and sharing) your own -- there are prizes to be had!

Today: We're shining the spotlight on Very French by cucina di mammina, and dreaming of ways to give our kitchen a little je ne sais quoi.

We've said it before and we'll say it again -- we're pretty thrilled about our new and improved Food52 Collections features. You've been making some beautiful collections, and we want to share the love. So twice a month, we'll pick a collection -- full of  productsarticles, and recipes -- that inspires us and showcase it for everyone to enjoy. Get collecting, and if you're featured you'll win an exclusive prize from our online shop Provisions. Share your collections on Twitter with #myFood52, and you could win even more!

grazie e merci for showcasing my French collection :) I adore French cuisine but it is the people, the art and the country itself that inspires me most

In case you've not noticed, there is WAAAAY more to "French" than Parisian. And it isn't all buttery. ;)

That's true! And the collection has much more than just what we've shown in it -- but we just happened to feature a few of the butterier aspects because, well, that caught our eye :) Which is your favorite type of French cuisine?

Agreed Catherine Lamb! French food is one of my favorites as they have always inspired me with their gorgeous fresh ingredients and genius combination of flavors.
