We asked for your red, white, and/or blue food photos, and you gave us pie. Sure, some of you thought of tomatoes and mozzarella, but the overwhelming majority of you couldn't move past pie. And why would you? Is there anything more American-looking than a butter crust, or a lattice top filled with red and blue berries? America means pie, people. (But the other red, white, and sometimes blue 'grams didn't look half-bad either.)

Wow ! We've been pushing for "Cooking With Mr. C. " to get a mention for a long time now. ( 8 Blogs To Follow) Funny how this July 4, 2013, post from that blog looks very familiar to this pie post.
