Not quite sure if you think of books as a kind of tool. I'm hoping for Andrea Nguyen's book about banh mi. I looked at it in the bookstore and thought: I'll never make this. The very next week I ate an incredibly delicious banh mi sandwich and thought: I have to learn how to make this!
