A Haiku or Two, on Sunshine

April 25, 2015

Our thoughts on food and cooking
In seventeen beats.

Shop the Story

If I were a plant
sunlight would be my food and
I wouldn't know bread.  :(

there's no sun until
you have ice cream dripping down
your fingers, wrist, arm.

Let your feelings about sunshine roam free. The comments below are a safe space to express yourself.

sunshine, without it
no herbs, fruits, veggies; rain is
nice but sun is life

face lifted to sun
reflects on the deck chaise and
my margarita

all wrapped into one:
food, time, fellowship and love
my only sunshine...
