The best part about the holidays, if you ask us, is not the lighting of candles or the trimming of trees or the carols or the twinkly lights. It's the part where everyone is in the kitchen together cooking, the windows steamed up from the blur of activity happening inside—mixing dough or scooping it into balls, stamping out shapes, shoving sheet tray after sheet tray of cookies into a hot oven. And everyone's family's holiday cookie routine is a little bit (or a lot) different, which is why we want to see yours.
What cookies make it feel like it's the holidays to you? Are they starry Italian pizzelles, or your grandmother's pfeffernusse? Fried, honey-sweet struffoli? Powdery Russian tea cakes, or cinnamon-anise biscochitos?
Head over to the contest page to submit your best holiday cookie recipes.
