There's a new(-ish) Russ & Daughters in town. And it is very good. —Kenzi

That time Kenzi and I briefly transported ourselves to a rooftop field of Bucky Fuller igloo tents in the middle of a workday. —Amanda S.

Passed this little stranded bear on the way to the subway. Wanted to rescue him, sure—but figured it'd be best to leave him there, in case his true owner returns. —Sarah

In Hudson, New York, you'll find loads of antique stores, and many of them will be selling paintings by Earl Swanigan—like this one, which looks like my dog! —Sam

Café El Portal in Nolita—my go-to, every-Saturday, spicy, crispy-tortilla-ed huevos rancheros spot for the last 8 years—is allegedly closing soon, but each Saturday, they say they'll stick around just a little longer. Rumor has them here till April now, so it's high time you go. Get a michelada and say hi—I'll be there. —Kristen
