I have a thing for most foods topped with a fried egg, a strange disdain for overly soupy tomato sauce, and I can never make it home without ripping off the end of a newly-bought baguette. I like spoons very much.

Julie's review was funny - that's her schtick. She doesn't need to be be a foodie or a gourmand to write a review. If you cook and bake often enough yourself, you should be able to tell whether a particular author is going to resonate with you. I enjoyed both reviews - carry on, The Piglet Tournament is very entertaining.
