FIVE CHEESE HAIKU (by Mary L. Holden, writer and editor)

Five Cheese Haiku

Butter flour beer

Cheddar melts, now pale orange soup

Top with croutons Mmm

Veins, no arteries

Bluish green and white spreading

Heart to a cracker

Placed upon grater

Parmesan multiplies fast

Then mates tomatoes

Oh bagel bagel

What would you be without me?

Empty calories

Love Monterey Jack

Heart affair and heart attack

Love Pepper Jack too
