Our Holiday Market was last weekend and, man, was the place buzzing. The hot honey was flowing, the gifts were a-shining, and we might have heard Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" upwards of 200 times. We loved meeting our community, recommending presents for the hardest-to-shop-fors, and having you in our test kitchen.
If you weren't able to make it, don't worry! You can live vicariously through our captured memories (and visit our Holiday Market Shop page, where you can see all the treasures we had on display). Hope to see you next year!
We had over 400 of our Shop treasures on display for our guests to ooh and aah over. Our Art Director, Alexis Anthony, decked out the space with twinkly lights, garlands galore, and all the touches that made it feel like home—from a table all set and ready for a feast, to a stovetop full of favorite cookware.
The sleeper hit of the weekend: our DIY Gift Card station. Our guests couldn't get enough of the stamps, printed tape, and baubles to decorate their own gift tags for this year's presents. It also served as a welcome respite amidst the hum of the busy market.
That Bed!
The whole Market was drop-dead gorgeous but the spot that made us giddy? The bed Alexis cozied up with our Hawkins New York linen sheets and piles of pillows and throws. It took everything we had to not take a little nap in there.
Also joining the party were Sohha, RISE cold brew coffee, Bushwick Kitchen, and Owl's Brew. We may have had one too many of those little spoonfuls of Gochujang Sriracha... but it's always fun to meet the makers behind some of our favorite pantry staples.
Whew. It was a lot to pack in three days but it was totally worth it; The Holiday Market was another one for the books. Now begins the countdown until next year...
We attended on Saturday, and it was fun and delicious and beautiful. Lovely to see the space, to meet the people our son works with, and to do a little shopping. SO MANY lovely useful things I'd love to buy! Happy Holidays to all of you at Food52!
