The 2017 Piglet

These 15 New Cookbooks are Crowd-Tested—and Approved

March 16, 2017

Believe it or not, the 2017 Piglet Tournament of Cookbooks is nearing a close—with My Two Souths up against Taste & Technique in the final, cutthroat showdown.

Meanwhile, our community's been having their own cookbook love fest, with reviews of 15 cookbooks they deemed worthy of an honorable mention—written by them! Crowd-sourcing cookbook reviews means more opinions, more feedback, more gushing about cookbooks (and probably adding more to your wish list).

In case you missed it, here are this year's Piglet Community Pick reviews. We hope you enjoy!

The Piglet—inspired by The Morning News' Tournament of Books—is where the 16 most notable cookbooks of the year face off in a NCAA-style bracketed tournament. Watch the action and weigh in on the results!
