We already knew our community loved Julia Turshen's Small Victories before it was chosen as this month's book for our Cookbook Club, because you all chose it as a Piglet Community Pick earlier this year, too.
One reader, who considers herself "an advanced and prolific cook" was pleasantly surprised by "how many of the tips and techniques were game-changing," like adding a drop of water and covering eggs while frying them for fully cooked whites without flipping. Readers couldn't really think of anyone who couldn't benefit from this book, and that's proven true in the Cookbook Club as well. One member started out the month saying that'd she'd never use the cookbook, but after a second look found several that she wanted to try, as evidenced by a photo of a heavily-flagged copy of the book!
To experience those game-changing discoveries yourself, pick up a copy of the book and then scroll down to see what members have been cooking up so far this month—it just might help you decide what to make first.
