10 Tea Cakes to Ease You into Fall Baking

September 14, 2017

All throughout September, our Baking Club is cooking through the first Tartine cookbook. Members have been easing into fall by baking tea cake after tea cake, from pumpkin to almond to zucchini:

Whether you call them tea cakes, quick breads, or loaf cakes, there's something about a bread that can cure an afternoon sweet tooth and count as a breakfast food. We wouldn't want you to miss out on the tea cake train just because you haven't picked up a copy of Tartine yet, so here are 10 recipes (including one from Tartine co-author Chad Robertson) to get you going.

We also don't want you to miss out on participating in the Baking Club, though! Head here to get up to speed on how to participate.

I can't find the 'Almond-Lemon Tea Cake' recipe. I'd love to try it.

Similarly, the Zucchini Orange Marmalade cake that's pictured isn't linked and doesn't appear when searching the site

As noted they're found in our Cookbook Club's book of the month, Tartine! Come join the Club and bake with us! (We've shared the 10 other tea cake recipes to get you going until you get a copy of the book.)
