The 9 1/2 Most Popular Food52 Recipes in April

Let’s take a trip down memory lane...

May  1, 2018

At the start of each month, we'll be looking back at the most popular recipes from the previous one, stopping just short of ten and giving you a helpful tip, not recipe, or drink instead.

The fourth month of this year is drawing to a close, and we’re waxing nostalgic: What good times we had! We shared some laughs, some cries, and, apparently, lots and lots of pasta. As we move into May—and further into spring’s welcome embrace—I thought we could take a trip down memory lane and peek back at the recipes you all loved the most in April. The Food52 community has spoken and here are the 9 recipes—plus one kinda-sorta—that took the cake.

So there you have it, all the recipes fit to print. As a special treat, I give you the most popular half recipe. What is that, you ask? Well, it can be anything, really, as long as it doesn’t qualify as a full-fledged, bona fide recipe as we know it. In April, the most popular half recipe was actually a tip. Rather, a series of them. Alice Medrich broke down the best practices for poaching an egg perfectly, every time. Happy May, everyone!
