Announcing the Genius Desserts Book Tour! (a.k.a. The Eat Cookies with Kristen Tour)

Come meet Kristen and other fellow dessert freaks (and eat lots of treats).

October  9, 2018

The Genius Desserts book tour kicks off on the West Coast in a couple weeks and I would love to see you!

Come eat treats, chat with fellow dessert freaks, and have me write love letters and draw custom doodles in your books—just for you or for very special, very ahead-of-the-game holiday gifts. (This is real—I've done all of this and I'll do it again.)

These events are the best parts of writing a book—I can't wait to see you in real life!

Oh hi. Come eat treats (and talk about them) with me!

I'm an ex-economist, ex-Californian who moved to New York to work in food media in 2007. Dodgy career choices aside, I can't help but apply the rational tendencies of my former life to things like: recipe tweaking, digging up obscure facts about pizza, and deciding how many pastries to put in my purse for "later."

:) We've looked into some possibilities over here in addition to the Short Hills, NJ event (you should check out the Indigo bookstore if you're ever nearby—it's incredible!). But I'll probably be taking a break for a little while as I'm going on maternity leave in March. Will keep this page posted when we add more events after I survive that!

Is Sydney, Australia a bit too far off the beaten track to add to the book tour?!?! :(

Hooray! I haven't been to Minneapolis before—I'm excited. Any local food recommendations I can't miss while I'm in town?
