Nik Sharma—whose blog A Brown Table and cookbook Season both have us swooning at all times—is (unsurprisingly) planning what sounds like the world's loveliest Thanksgiving.
It will purportedly take place at a farm (!) and according to our Automagic Menu Maker, his feast will be a masterful mix of everyone's favorite Thanksgiving traditions, with a few twists and updates in the mix to keep things fresh.
"Thanksgiving is usually spent with my husband's family at their farm," says Sharma. "We each have our favorites that we like to bring to the table. He loves cornbread, so the stuffing I make every year includes that in some form or the other, though I change the seasonings and ingredients that accompany it. When it comes to dessert, I love sweet potatoes, so typically you'll see me make that for a pie. As for the turkey, that's something my father-in-law is in charge of every year, he loves to try something new with it and play around with different techniques."
What time should we plan to arrive?
We've included some highlights from Sharma's menu below—or, you can check out his full, detailed picks here. And if you're feeling inspired, you can design your own! (I'm willing to make a second stop for dessert.)
