Rise and Shine, because we've partnered with Milk to bring you our latest contest: your all-time best creamy breakfast recipe starring real milk. Read on for all the delicious, dreamy details.

If you dream of being the type of person who greets their day with vim and vigor (instead of grumbling every time the alarm clock goes off), allow our latest recipe contest—your all-time best creamy breakfast—to help.

Since narrowing the field down to five finalists, we've taken on the next deliciously difficult task: picking the top two finalists.

And as someone is who most certainly not a morning person, these dreamy recipes—which get their creaminess thanks to real milk—make me want to leave my cozy-dark room to get in the kitchen and cook.

From baked eggs dressed up in luscious béchamel and Gruyère cheese to potato pancakes smothered in sausage gravy, please give a round of applause for the last contenders...

After congratulating sdebrango and inpatskitchen in the comments, check out both recipes and give them a whirl at home. Then head over to our contest page to vote. Set your alarms—you have from now until September 27 at 12 p.m. EST to pick your favorite. Then on September 29, we'll announce the big winner.

Oatmeal, quiche, smoothie—got a creamy breakfast you love? Tell us about it in the comments!

In partnership with Milk, an organization of milk processors around the country, we’re excited to share all the ways the Food52 community uses real milk to make their best-ever creamy breakfast. Stay tuned to find out which breakfast reigns supreme!
