Christmas trees on every corner! Latkes on every plate! Cookie roundups on every food blog! The holidays are here, and the test kitchen was especially festive this week. 1. #8DaysofDoughnuts continues. Just because we weren't in the office today didn't mean we didn't have time for jelly doughnuts. These were decidedly "old school," in Merrill's words -- just the way we like them, gelatinous jelly and all.
2. Edible gifts abound! We packed up some presents for friends in these beautiful little bags. Gifting is just as fun as getting -- especially when food is involved.
3. It's not the holidays without: Cookie cutters. And gingerbread men. These little guys made their yearly appearance and performed beautifully -- we can't wait to share the finished product.
