Put a Filter on It: Warm Foods for Cold Days

January 10, 2014

It's no secret -- we love a good 'gram. Here, we'll be posting our favorite Instagram from the food world, on a different theme each week. This week, we're getting cozy.

You're probably still stripping off the tights, long johns, leggings, and thermal underwear you layered on to fend off this week's polar vortex. But even the fuzziest sweater can't warm you up the way a steaming bowl of soup can.

We hope you've stayed warm during these freezing times, preferably curled up with a dish of something like linnylot's lemony yellow tomato soup. Unfortunately, winter's not over yet, so make yourself soup, hot chocolate, oatmeal, or anything else that'll make you warm and cozy, and then share it with us.

We want your 'grams! Follow us, then Instagram your warming foods with #F52grams -- we'll repost our favorites.

See what other Food52 readers are saying.

I used to work at Food52. I'm probably the person who picked all of the cookie dough out of the cookie dough ice cream.

If I had a phone that took pictures, I'd post a photo of my German sausage and lentil hotpot that's on the go right now! :(
