Vegetable literacy! So informative and so good. So many veggies I did not know about. Love the pictures!

Vegetable Literacy!!!! Hands down winner. This is a gorgeous book that helped me CONQUER my farm CSA last summer. Every recipe I tried was fantastic and I now rule the produce section of Whole Foods!

i haven't read vegetable literacy....but i really like "Saving the season". i like how he lays it out by season. there was a lot of detail and depth. kevin west goes into the why as much as the how. it helped me in my jam making!

I didn't care for Saving the Season. It seemed too stuffy/complicated. I am a big jam maker but I haven't made a single item from this book.
