Using marinade as sauce?

How long should I simmer pork marinade to make it safe for using as a sauce?

Thanks nutcakes. I did a good simmer for 5 mins. so I think we're all safe!

Some food extension articles say 'never use', but several say "Full rolling boil for one minute' See Clemson University Food Extension.

I'd boil for several minutes say 3 to 5. I'll see if I can find an official site.
