Luciana's Porchetta - Accidentally doubled marinade

This is my first time attempting this meal. I reduced the amount of pork from 6 to 3 pounds but forgot to halve the spice marinade. So now it's sitting in the fridge with twice as much fennel, rosemary, garlic, than necessary. Do I let it marinade overnight and just scrape some of the marinade before putting in the oven? Or do I need to wash the meat off entirely as soon as possible and make a new marinade? Thank you!

With porchetta, it’s hard to have too much spice mixture but to be safe, yes, scrape off some of the spice mixture before roasting and it should be fine!
