A question about a recipe: “It Takes A Village” Meyer Lemon-Scented Rice Pudding
How much uncooked long-grain rice do I need to produce 6 cups of cooked rice? Also, can I use basmati or jasmine rice for this recipe? Thanks so much, everyone. ;o)

Yes, 2 cups raw rice should do it. Jasmine would be lovely. Another note: you may need to add extra milk before serving if the pudding has been sitting for more than a few hours (i.e. leftovers), depending on how starchy your rice is. Hope you enjoy this!

2 cups regular-milled long grain rice should yield between 6-8 cups cooked rice ....
