Freezing cooked grains

I'm curious if I can make large batches of rice or quinoa with vegetables and other ingredients, and freeze them in smaller portions. Will the texture of the grains change much when I re-heat?

I often freeze rice-based dishes, and reheat gently in the microwave with not much textural change.
