What should I serve with a slaw made with red cabbage, walnuts and blue cheese? I ran across a recipe for that, but am at a loss. ;o)

Thank you so much, everyone. ;o)

Marinated Flank or skirt steak comes to my mind. The salad sounds great, please share!

Meat or chicken would be great! I make german red cabbage dish which works well with turkey, chicken, lamb, veal and other red meat. I bet your red cabbage would go well with these meats as well. Sounds delicious!

A slaw - especially with blue cheese - is always good with barbecued ribs or chicken.

Anything pork. A natural balance of taste. Stuffed tenderloin, grilled chops, sliced Korean pork, Chinese hoisin pork, whatever you like.

A crab cake. A shrimp ajillo. http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/classic-shrimp-al-ajillo-10000001585271/

A small pasta dish with meatballs. And as mentioned, a ham based dish.

Fried chicken wings and a oatmeal cookie. (I'd kiss you for that one).

Thinly sliced jamon serrano would be good, especially with the blue cheese.
