I have a question about the recipe "Linguine with Sardines, Fennel & Tomato" from lastnightsdinner. Would substituting marinated sardines for canned sardines work or be a bad idea?

Since there's lemon juice in the sauce, I think you might be ok. The only thing I would worry about is the texture of marinated sardines.
They barely need effort, in fact.
