Am having trouble saving a recipe to "My Recipes"

Hello, I have been attempting, unsuccessfully, to save a recent recipe to "My Recipes". I am unsure as to what I am doing incorrectly, but once I attempt to save the recipe, when I go back in to My Recipes, the recipe is not there. Can you help me with my dilemma?!!
