My peach cobbler recipe calls for bourbon and I'm out. Any substitutions?

A peach or almond liqueur? Cointreau? Since these are sweeter than bourbon, I would use a bit less sugar on the peaches.

Agreed but I'd phrase that "another type of whiskey", rum or "brandy". ;-)

Rum, whiskey, or cognac would work.
