I have 5 nice and fresh mackerel steaks I would like ti make in a simple different way any ideas
Its 92 degrees and muggy in New York. I want to grill it and load it up with tart, spicy fruit salsa with lots of lime and spring onion.
I wonder about a quick ceviche. Not tried this, but it might be good. Key lime juice, shallot, habanero, little salt, dill. 3 minutes in the lime juice Max.
It might be too fishy tasting, but I would give it a go.
