How long will fresh egg whites keep in the fridge?

Egg whites are good until they're cloudy - at least a week if properly stored. But they do freeze well too.

My mother always froze them in ice cube trays immediately then thawed them in the fridge as needed. It's a great way to save them as long as they are labelled!

USDA says 2-4 days in the refrigerator. If you freeze the egg whites, they will keep for 12 months, again according to the USDA.
