Apricot Sauce for Pork Chops

I'm going to make a pair of pork chops for dinner tomorrow and want to make an apricot sauce for a pork virgin who loves apricot sauce. I'm making it from dried apricots. I could wing it but I wonder if anyone has a recipe or ideas. The chops are about 3/4 inch thick.
