Bruschetta. Bacon wrapped scallops. Thai chicken salad in lettuce cups. Salmon mouse in endive leaves. Seared beef tenderloin medallions with horseradish cream. Pork tenderloin medallions with cranberry chutney. Carmelized onion and goat cheese tarts. Spinach and feta tarts.
I can keep going...I love apps.

Bacon wrapped stuffed dates. Perfect blend of salty and sweet. I like to stuff them with bleu cheese, feta or almonds.

One of my seasonal faves, you can form them in muffin tins if you like. Great flavor... http://www.bonappetit.com...

Roquefort gougeres (or their Gorgenzola cousins) are my "go-to" -- hot out of the oven they practically SCREAM for a glass of wine.

You could do a savory puff pastry tart cut into small squares like this one

or these Pomegranate Glazed Chicken Drumsticks
