I have a stir-fry recipe here calling for 5 slices of ginger. Can someone please translate slices to teaspoons? I have some crushed ginger in the house and I would rather use that up.
I suggest starting with 2 teaspoons of the crushed and see how the dish tastes. You can always add more but not take away!
Two teaspoons sounds about right but if from a jar or tube it will not be as strong (flavor wise) as real slices. Taste and adjust if you want more flavor.
