If I make classic tiramisu in a springform pan would that spell disaster? I'm afraid the cream wouldn't set properly.

I agree with Amanda but if you are nervous about it setting properly you could line the sides of the pan with the lady fingers, it would hold it together and make for a lovely presentation.

I think it should work -- the biscuits really hold it together.
