My wife and I loved this soup at live aqua she asked them for the recipe and they sent it to us. See below:
HABANERO CREAM (6 PAX)
1 cup of butter
2 cup of flour
1 lt of milk
1 lt of chicken broth
1⁄2 lt of whipping cream
2 white chopped onions
1 clove of chopped garlic
5 habanero peppers in half and seeded 10 spinach leaves
Olive oil Salt Pepper
Cooking butter with the flour stirring constantly, add milk, chicken broth and whipping cream and continue stirring constantly until thickened.
Put the garlic, onion and chili in a pan and add olive oil salt and pepper and mix evenly brown in the oven at 180 ° C.
and add to the first preparation and let boil, rectify salt and pepper. Blend everything very finely whit the spinach without strain.
Served with garlic bread and potato chips.
How hot is the final product? It seems like everyone gives it a glowing review so I am tempted to give it a try but I am pretty low on the heat tolerance scale.
That sounds like the wonderful soup at Live Aqua. I've been looking for a recipe for that since I got back from Cancun. Hope someone has a recipe they can share!
I never got a chance to ask for the recipe, but I'm pretty sure it had cheese & cream in it.. It was served in little bread bowls with potato Chips standing on top of the soup.
