frozen apples to use for apple crisp

i have the apple slices prepped with sugar and spices and now want to use them for tonite's apple crisp. should i defrost before adding the tipping and then bake or could i use them frozen, sprinkle on the topping and then bake? what temperature is suggested?

You can skip defrosting them. Just go from frozen to oven. Bake at the same temperature the recipe calls for. You may need to add a few minutes.
